So I'm starting to buy some parts to get it back to original and now I'm stuck trying to figure out what air cleaner was on it! It was originally a low option 326, 2 barrel carb, non-Cali A.I.R., automatic Powerglide, no heat riser parts on driver side manifold, push on air breather on pass side valve cover (non oem valve covers) and push on oil cap on driver side (again non oem valve cover) and guessing it is a standard and not HD.... http://thefirstgensite.com/library/partscounter/number/fec/fec15.jpgWhat I have to work with.....

I thought these pics were still floating around on my PC. Gary Plowman's (now Liam's?) 1967 326 2bbl trophy winner.
Without CCV. Air cleaner top part number 6420970.

I don't even see that part number on the sheet you gave me Vikki??? The closest is a 6420971 for the 65/66 Tempest, T/8 2 B.C. or P/8 2 B.C. exc A.I.R., which I'm assuming means the full size Pontiac. And the Lemans had it's own totally different air cleaner Earlybird.

Mine is not on her list either. It is a 6424826
I am not sure it's 100% correct for my car, but it looks good.
I believe mine should truly have the chrome air cleaner, but I think the snorkle look is better.

It only shows the 2 barrel carbs on that page so yours might be right.

I'll have my friend look it up in his parts finder/assmebly catalog...

Just a quick glance at the page and it looks like the Tempest/Lemans, T/8, has different numbers, take a look. All I know is I'm cofused as hell! http://thefirstgensite.com/library/partscounter/number/fec/fec15.jpg

I still have my original 2bl carb for my Rochester 2bl carb that went on my 68 350. Is it the same?
Do you want a pic?
