Lets try this. I ran some repairs repair tools on database to see if there was a problem. Did not find anything. Ran an optimization routine on it. Testing with me just on the board it seems to have fixed the responsiveness of the forum. Not sure if it is only temporary.

Not for me.
Every now and then a page loads quickly, but then the next few take 3-4 minutes apiece...
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Still running overall very slow, though there are times where it will load a couple pages quickly.

This morning it took a couple minutes for the first page to load. Then the log-in page was all messed up (see Catalina's post above).
After signing in, (so far) seems OK.
But the slowness comes and goes.

Just took 4 "re-freshes" of page to load correctly. Each re-fresh took a couple of minutes.

I am at a loss to why the speed issues as the database is checking out OK. Seems to not be impacting others sites I run which is hosted on same server. It is a hosted server company which I have used from almost the beginning.

I can see the redraw issues are slow and not just the database.

It appears another site sharing the same server has been a resource hog creating the issue. We are being moved to another server. Should be occurring sometime this week. Hello,
Thank you for contacting our support department. Our engineers are moving your account and hosting to a less busy/different server. Thanks for your patience!
Sincerely,
TierraNet Customer Care

Geoff,
I'm having the same problem over the last week or so -- pages load very slow and, once loaded, the info looks scattered and things like the online/offline icon are red x's in boxes.
However, if you drag your mouse over the contents of a page, then copy/paste it into a Word doc, the resulting format looks correct.
Something's messed up for sure. I'm sure we're not the only ones. Visiting the site is now not as pleasant.

I have been staying away from here for a few weeks now because it is so slow and times out. I'm sure it's nothing to do with the site itself but a server that I'm routed through....
I just tried some different proxies and got the same slow results, one in the US, one Netherlands and one Germany...

Seems to be about 10% better than last week, but that's still 70% slower than a couple of weeks ago when things were switched.
Kind of aggravating!!

I think response is much better now. I found that when I open a new browser, I have to "kick" the initial load of the site 3-5 times but it comes up fast once it catches. Once the initial page comes up, until I close the browser, I can easily and quickly move around the site.

Based on last couple hours of performance, it appears the latest move to yet another server by our host provider has resolved the issue. Yay!

Geoff, I had an issue this morning around 2:00 where I was unable to access the forum, just thought you might want to know that.

Thanks Bjorn. At this point I am not sure it might not have been a browser issue that night.
