I can see I need to check out that show next year. But that show is always the same day as the Buffalo show we always attend. 600+ cars in Buffalo this year.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. I feel like I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe. 1968 400 convertible (Scarlet) 1976 T/A - 455 LE (No Burt) 1976 T/A New baby, starting full restoration. 1968 350 - 4 speed 'vert - 400 clone (the Beast!) 1968 350 convertible - Wife's car now- 400 clone (Aleutian Blue) (Blue Angel) 2008 Durango - DD 2008 GXP - New one from NH is AWESOME! 2017 Durango Citadel - Modern is nice! Wow Craig, 600 cars? I might have to go to Buffalo next year! I think there were about 60 at this show.
I've got a question for whoever can answer it... The third picture in is a close up of the chrome louvers on the quarter panel. The front edge of each louver is painted black. Is that how they were originally? My repros were all chrome. I might have to get out the Testors enamel and a small brush to paint mine.

Pete I remember my first '68 (coupe) I had back in 1980 had the paint on the front face of the louvers. I think it was flat black. Then a year or two later, I bought my first '68 ragtop, it was an original, rustbucket, basketcase. That car did not have the louvers painted. I have never seen one since with them painted. Maybe it's like the bird-glass mystery. Maybe someone else here can say for sure.

Thanks. I've noticed 2 cars that had painted louvers, but I often forget to check! The previous owner saved the original louvers for my car and it looks like they weren't painted.
