I installed a wood steering wheel assy. on a 67 conv and the brass horn contact in the turn signal harness does not contact the center in the steering wheel for the horn to work. Any ideas?? Does anyone have any pictures that would show the correct assy?

I think the issue is because of the aftermarket wheel and parts.
Anybody installed an aftermarket wood wheel and had this issue?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. I installed the Grant wood wheel years ago...initially I had contact problems...just took some "playing" with it...eventyually got it working...dont recall the exact problem, but lack of contacting was the cause

Thanks Is this a factory wood wheel or aftermarket? I have several pics of my installation of a factory wood wheel. It was PITA! to figure out, the manual was not very good here. The contact spring was too short for me so I streached it out to work.
