Spent a few hours at one of the season opener shows at the Poppy Secondary School put on by the automotive department. First time at this one and it was THREE blocks from my new place...soon as I pulled off my street and saw classics all over 240th I knew it was going to be sizable. Must have been over 300 cars of all types. Stayed a few hours and then back hope to work on the acreage...
Nice pics, You're car looks good and it's cool thats it's close to home. It's about time the sun comes out and stays for awhile,we had enough rain already.
It was an incredible day for a show. We almost had the car out at this show. I found out about it too late and had already committed to another event on Sunday. Looks like it was a great show though. I know a few people that had their cars there. a nice blue and white 57 chev, and a modified Anglia.
Now we're doing car shows in early May around BC, must be global warming although not the way the weather has been this Spring. Glad to see you got out Dave, I insured the car today and got out for a short drive. It was nice, just topped up all fluids turned it over then away to the gas station for some fresh octane to start the season. Been so busy with work (which is a good thing) hopefully I'll get time for a couple shows this year but I doubt it.

I can't make Softball City this year as the wife will be heading over to Van for the start of a Alaska cruise that day and I'll have the kids. The 13th will be a big day for me as well, going into the local longshoring union so I will be staying close to home around that time. If you do get over to the Island do let me know. I am planning to go to Portland for the GTOAA event in early July. It's the first time that they have had the nationals in this area so it'll be something to see.
