First off, I have the templates from Vikki's site, and the emblems are from Classic Industries. But the studs don't line up with the hole placement on the template. I plan to use 3M tape to mount the emblems, so i've removed the studs. What I need is a measurement for the emblem edges themselves. Does someone have the measurement from the back of the hood to the emblem (furthest rearward point), and from the hood scoop (please identify the point on the hood scoop from which you measured) to the forward most point on the emblems. Both the driver and passanger side measurements please. I've been searching, and it looks like the emblems are around 2-3 inches from the top/front of the hood scoop, but I'd like to get it right.

Thanks,

My son and I put 1967 "Camaro" fender emblems on his 2002 using 3M tape and they have held good through almost a year of daily driving, washes and Illinois winter weather. It took a while to cut out that script lettering with an Xacto so that the tape was hidden. The 400 emblems should be easier.
