Last night the TV show "Motion" was exploring Acadia in fall, including Cadillac Mountain. Looks like a beautiful fall ride. It's been years since we saw Acadia and never in fall. Maybe a good place for next year's colors.

We went up to the Michigan UP two weeks ago and the colors were outstanding. We rented a 1HP vehicle on Mackinac Island for a ride there.

We were there (Clearwater area) this past week and it was comfortable. The temps in the 60s were perfect for me.

No snow here ... yet. But we always get it by the 31st of Oct.

Guess it could be worse ... like being tied down on a beach somewhere and naked women taking advantage of us ... wait a minute ... need to dream about that a little more before a commit ... Mmmmmm

Now that the water is getting colder, they're all covering up and the surfer chicks are donning their wet suits.

Those pics are from last year and the word is this year will be just as good if not better. If this is the result of global warming I say bring it on.

Took our last ride for the season today. It's a beautiful 52 degrees and sunny. Put some gas in it and returned home.

.....On second thought, I decided not to put the top up and prep it for winter yet. There must be another run left in this fall...... This was too enjoyable to let it end for the year yet.... smile

I was going through some old pictures the other day. Damned if I didn't find the same exact picture you took from the top showing the islands.

Been a long time since I've been up there. Nice area for sure.
