i keep a big box of lincoln logs and some scrap wood blocks and that keeps him real busy... making garages for his toys..
.
i let him poke at the old parts with scrapers and stuff.. and clean the old parts up..

What I did to my sub was to reweld all the seams and grind smooth everything, under the upper control arms took the longest but it is blended and smooth,
Yes I have alot of spare time at points and just wanted to see if I could smooth out a frame

Why do you have two subframes? One twisted?
In hind site I would have done just what Jerry did.. spend the time cleaning up the weld splatter. Been thinking of picking up another subframe just to work on. Bugs me every time I open the hood and see that factory weld they did in a hurry.

it's a extra subframe from the 69 400 car i chopped up...
.
.
in hindsight i should have not chopped it up.. but i figure you cant save em all..
,.
if i had i would have needed even more parts..
