I have a 69 coupe and when you shut the hood in doesn't go all the way down in the back next to the cowl if you push down on the back of the hood it will go down.Is there any way to make the hinges work right or do I need to replace the hood hinges?

Loosen the rear bolts at the hinge/fender connection. Have a buddy push up hard at the front of the hood, making the rear of the hinges pivot down. Then tightnen the bolts in that position.
Unless something is way out of alignment, that should solve the problem.

Loosen the rear bolts at the hinge/fender connection. Have a buddy push up hard at the front of the hood, making the rear of the hinges pivot down. Then tightnen the bolts in that position.
Unless something is way out of alignment, that should solve the problem. the abv is correct, just what I did too, but instead of having a buddy help, I pushed up and stuck in a broom stick until I could tighten the bolts again
