I have my glove box out right now. I'll take a look tonight. But I'm thinking you can't remove it.

What's on the end of the new harness? You might need to add a butt connector and splice it.

Take a look at this from Ames. It includes a length of wire.

I know you need to take the light bulb out and the wire that feeds it just pulls right out. At least mine did.

The wire slides in to the socket and some how it is locked in to place.New harness has the same wire on it so there must be some way to remove it.Do not want to splice the new harness.Thanks Jim

I just looked. As rohrt said. There is a spade type connector that slides out. I did not pull on mine to see if it would just slide out as easy as his did.

Does the new harness have that spade connector? If so you should be able to reverse engineer what tab holds it in.

Hi all,finally got the wire out but not until the plastic was broken up.I do have a spare one so I splice that one in to the new harness.So some how that spade clip hooks inside.Rohrt,I wish mine was that easy and just pulled out but that is the way it goes sometimes.Thanks for the help guys.Jim
