Having trouble (again) getting the bezel ring to screw in and lock the ignition switch assembly to the dash (68). I know a few of you mentioned some "socket tricks" a few years ago. The manual calls for a special tool. Anyone ever seen that tool?

I just replace my ignition switch, key cylinder and bezel. I did not need to use this tool however.
You may know this already, but I think you have to install the bezel first then insert the cylinder last. Mine went right on no problem.

Yes, definitely get the tool. There's one for the wiper bezels too and they typically come as a kit.
Well, Rick's Camaro's sells them together...

I got it in the mail and it did the trick. No more "spinning" ignition.
