Looking at purchasing a 69 350. What should the engine/block number be and where located?

Ok now I am confused (showing my ignorance). On the front of the engine, right behind the thermostat is the number 9790068. Now, have no idea what this number is?
One understanding I have is that the engine number s/b 9790079 as this car "reportedly" is a 350/265 2 bbl, AT/air which matches YE code. I can not find 9790079?? I also read that the head cating number s/b 47 and the cam casting number 9777254.
Any help (spl'd "education" w/b appreciated)

You're probably looking at the intake manifold number. The block casting code is at the rear passenger side below the head. It's hard to get to:
