Hi folks,

I thought I would post a link to what the Jersey shore has to offer other than guidos and bimbos. These guys were in the right spot at the right time. Take notice of how fast the bait fish thrown into the water is eaten buy the marauding tuna around the boat. Enjoy!

Jackfish = Northern Pike = Slew Shark

Excellent fish if caught in cold deep water. Pike in Alberta is as common and dandelions. lol

Caught a 3ft Pike in Iowa one time when I was a kid. Came up like I was dragging a log. It didn't start to thrash until it was in the boat. I thought that thing was going to eat me. Scariest dam fish I ever saw(calif born and raised). Started looking around for a nuclear power plant leaking radiation. If I'd of had a gun I would've shot a hole through the bottom of the boat trying to kill that thing.

as I had only gotten perch before (I was 11)I had been taught by my step dad to stick my thumb in their mouth ,break their neck.....did that to the pike , as he said "no, you`re not!"...lol

good, no wonder it looked 'familiar', mine never were that big , but 2-2.5 footers were pretty common

I caught a 1.5 lb perch when I was ice fishing years ago. That's huge for fresh water yellow perch. Perch are the best tasting and fun to catch.

There are trophy lakes up north you can catch the real big lake trout or Pike. You need a 4x4, boat, baseball bat, plate, salt & paper and of course your fishing gear.

I had thought that "jackfish" in the picture was a muskie rather than a northern, although I can only really tell by looking at the number of holes under the jaw.

If it smells like fish, its a tasty dish.
If it smells like cologne, leave it alone!

Chunkin’ is so ghetto. Guys who know how to catch fish chase them down, not sit there like a dog eating out of the trash can. Then again, I’m an ambush predator so wtf would you expect?

The yellow fin is a Board Fish, a fairly significant accomplishment. A board fish is the largest fish brought into the marina. I hit this one in early June and held the board until mid August. Talk about pissing people off! (It’s genetically programmed into me; I didn’t sign up for it.) I was considered a recreational fisherman, a typical idiot, and only professional captains were on the board. Just like around here: considered a lesser when in fact I’m the best thing around.
Here’s a picture is of Jesubline. You figure out who Jesubline is.
And a couple of more shots of some minnows I have caught. By the way, other than for bait, I don’t waste my time on fish that weight less than 25 lbs.

Chinook and Coho Salmon where his specialties.
Refused to use live bait.
"That isnt fish'n. Any half-[censored] can catch a fish with live bait."

Hey Amervo,

How was the striper fishing last fall? What kind of range you have on your vessel? Do you do any diving on it? It looks like a great boat to dive off of. Do you belong to any boating forums?
