Okay All - I am going insane.......
Does anyone have or know of the correct part number for a manual steering pitman arm for a 69' Firebird???
Or, where I can get one.
I'm trying to convert from P/S to manual and, this is the last item I need. HELP....
PY doesn't have it along with Ames. I found one on eBay but, I'm not paying $175 for a pitman arm. Thanks for any help.

Hi Joe, I have a manual steering box with pitman arm attached and I believe it came off of a 69 Firebird. It is sitting on a shelf in my garage. I, however, am just getting ready to leave for the Daytona 500 and will not be home until next Tuesday. I can get in touch with you when I get home, or you can get in touch with me next Tuesday if you still need one then. Thanks, Bill Edmunds [email protected]

Bill, Thanks for the reply. As long as it came off of a V8 car, it should work for me. The pitman arm should be curved, not straight. Also, I believe that the pitman arm should not have the bushing in it. I am definitely interested so, when you're back from the race, please get in contact with me. I haven't been able to find one as of yet. Also, I really only need the pitman arm but, if you won't separate the two, I'll take both. Any idea what you would like for it??
Thanks - Have a great time at the 500.
