I started my Firebird for the first time in 4 years. It has been sitting in my garage sideways since the year 2000. I did start it in 2008 and let it run for a minute or 2 then I shut it off. the battery was disconnected and held a charge! I pulled the coil wire and cranked it over so there was oil in the top end, I then put the coil wire back on and it started instantly, it went on high idel and I drove it around the block. The tires were full and the car ran great! even with old gas. everything worked great in the car even the AM/FM radio and the 8 track worked. although when I parked it and closed the door the drivers side window crank fell off. I guess it was telling me something LOL LOL ...BTW, I bought this car from the original owner way back in 1974. and really never used it.....time to decide what to do with it now.....Here are a few pictures I took today......
