Anyone know about this car?
Red 400
I'm not really taken with the writing style, it sounds like an infomercial. Also, the seller gives a complete workup on the body tag, but then seems clueless on how to tell what the engine code is. Otherwise looks pretty good.

It's missing the 400 grill inserts and I like the console. It looks like they screwed a 4spd plate off of something to the top and thought it would pass. The steering is aftermarket also. I would lay money down that it's not an orginal 400 car. If he can't verify the codes on the engine then how can he verify it's a 400? It's a nice looking driver.

The front bumper looks twisted. Maybe been in a wreck?

I called the guy this morning, and he does not have the PHS docs on this, but claims he is the 2nd owner. He did state the engine block was replaced by the original owner (at the dealer) due to a "knock" he heard in it. He seems like a salesman to me as well.
I think I'm gonna pass...

Then why does his ad state that he does not know if it's original??

I'd pass too.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

I would bet the car is not a 400 car, not that that matters. My blue car below was an original sprint-6 and I put a 428 in it. I built it for myself. I just don't like to see someone try to sell snake oil to someone unexpectly.
