I have been looking for NOS inner front fenders for my 67 Firebird with no luck. Did GM actually make the replacements for the Firebird or were the Camaro inner fenders used and trimmed to fit the firebird.

I have never seen them, but I am sure they must have been available until stock ran out. I'd mention Goodmark again, but you didn't like my answer over at PY, so you probably won't like it here either. frown

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

It not that I didn't like your answer, it is just that I had bought a set from Classic Industries and found they are a lighter guage steel than the original fender. Thats why I was wondering about the NOS. I have been able to locate a few NOS Camaro fenders but no NOS Firebird inner front fenders.

I'm generally not one to defend aftermarket sheetmetal, but today's "thinner" steel is actually stronger than the thicker '67 stuff. Yes, even the Taiwanese stuff Goodmark sells.

Try Heatbeatcity. I just got a bunch of panels from them and all were heavy guage, made in US or Canada.

If you send Taiwan the foil wrap from your chocolate bar they can build a car with it! lol
