We had a one day break in weather today and I was able to finish my last minute christmas shopping and run a few errands in the bird today. Never ceases to amaze me how easy that thing will smoke up the tires.

We had 82F yesterday lunch....woke up to 32F (wind chills , feels like 24) this am....strong winds yesterday afternoon..potted plants blew over!

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. We had one of the best EVER! Not because of gifts ironically, this years we spent the least amount of money ever and did not even make it home to be with family. We received some of the best news ever the day before Christmas no less regarding our accident three years ago Dec 12 2009 in our 68 Bird of all things. So all in all we had a very good Christmas to say the least and it looks like this coming year may be a good one as well! Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

That's awesome Joe. Glad to hear something good will come out of that... besides a lot of other happy birds with part transplants.
Hope the GP was fun to drive...
Glad you got the Bird out Bob, Hang in there Bjorn, tell everyone hello for me on the 5th, bout time the Bird gets some road time Michael, Dave, I know the weather you have... hope you enjoy some time up at the cabin...

Thank you and yes the Gp was a blast. It's off to disassemble & paint SOON! 4-speed conversion is a couple of weeks away prior to disassemble & paint! This car will be a BEAUTY!
