been a while since i posted. well, ive been working on my wiring lately. i have a problem that stumps me and thought some one might have some insight on this. the problem is when i pull my parking lights on, the turn siginal lights up on the drivers side for a few seconds along with the front light and then flashes abruptly first then slow down to the normal parking light position then will flash on occasion or stay bright for a few seconds. when this is going on, the rear light is not flashing or shows any problems just the front dr side. i disconnected the rear harness same thing happens. i disconnect the flashers and still the same thing . i disconnect the steering column same thing happens. also the dash plug so i pulled the harness out and traced all wires for a short and fixed some bad connections reinstall and the same thing is going on. im out of ideas. any body have anything or suggestions i can start following.

Have you swapped over bulbs to see if the fault changes to the other side?
You can also swap the indicator flasher unit with the hazard flasher unit on the fuse panel and see if that changes things at all.
Also front indicators/parkers bulbs use common earth, are is all the earthing good front and back?

Recheck all of your grounds connections. Especially the one for the instrument panel (upper center bezel screw for '67)

Has anyone suggested checking the grounds?
Seriously. I'v resolved 3 0r 4 issues by "repairing" grounding points. The bezel ground mentioned above is a "strap" that grounds to the dash when the instrument panel is installed.
