I'm looking to get my hands on a copy of Jim Hand's "How to Build Max Performance Pontiac V8s"... but it is out of print and most used copies I have found (which will ship to Canada) are going for $150+!!
Wondering if anyone here either has a copy they'd be willing to sell for a reasonable price.. or can point me in the direction of an online retailer who still has some old stock? So far no luck!
Only used copies on amazon... starting at $105USD. Even tried to buy a couple of those, but the sellers wanted $50 to ship to canada from the states (for a paperback....come on!)

I had to sell it. 1980 Turbo Trans Am 1970 Mustang fastback, 351C 4Bbl, auto 1988 Mustang GT, 5 speed 1983 F-150 4x4, built 302 1994 Chevy K2500 HD 4x4, 454 TBI
Ah yes... I seen that updated version as well, maybe I'll just pick up one of those.
Getting started on an engine build..had many people recommend the Jim Hand version of this book as the best edition, but looks like it has become a rare item!
Rocky's version has all the info from the original along with some updated material added after Jim's version was published.

I bought that book several years ago and it did a great job teaching me what i needed to build an awesome HP400 engine. Had no idea they were collector items. I might sell mine for a reasonable price
