does anyone know who and what kind of black paint will stick and flex with the springs,or should I just get them chromed.? confused

You can have them done in zink-oxide similar to many of the original components...

Or most actually have great luck with just a chassis black paint, or a graphite color paint.

Mine have been painted for years with out cracks or problems... so the most cost effective would be to paint them yourself.

You can find them on Ebay Chromed for about 300.00 Thats where I found mine. All rebuilt and chromed with there parts. No cores.

WOW! $300? eek eek

I had a local plater do both my hood springs AND hinges as a set for $150 They came out great.

I also only wanted to do the springs but the plater pointed out they would have to charge me almost as much the hinge/spring combo.

personally i would just use a paint that has a flex agent in it, or paint for urethane bumpers. that way it won't crack. you can get it at murrays.
