Any opinions/advice on painting my black door panels gold, or buying a pair of complete new ones ? I will have to paint all the other interior plastic anyway - wondering if it is worth the $400-500 to get gold repops. Thanks,

Painting wear parts never results in long lasting success. If they are decent blak ones, you are likely better off selling those and buying new correct colr ones for your car. Painting seatbacks also will not last. Anything you constantly touch or handle will wear off quite quickly. Kick panels or A-piller covers would likely last the longest.

My black panels are decent - power windows may limit the pool of buyers for them. Definitely would like to find all the plastic parts in gold, seems all I can find is black. Thanks for the input,

Wow, took me forever to sell off all my '67 gold parts. I had quite a few. Just sold a perfect set of matching seatbelts on Epay last summer. I don't think I have anything left, but I'll check. I may have one gold window crank and maybe the steering column covers. (sold my '67 'vert second week of Nov last year)
Pretty close to a year ago today.
You are right, the power window cuts may limit. But black always sells the best.

Bigtommy, Can you send me pics of your interior? I am thinking of changing the interior of my 68 Firebird from white to black. I may just be interested in buying your whole interior if they are decent as you have said it.
