i was thinking in mid 40s range or i'm i crazy I wish you weren't, but I think you are. Very nice 400 coupes rarely pull upper $20's these days. Very nice 400 'verts are mid to upper $30's. You would have to find the perfect buyer for that price.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. What was it originally if you "changed it to a 4-speed"?
If it was a factory auto tranny car then that's a huge change for the "numbers matching" crowd and will really lower your value.

Easier to quote price if you post some pictures.

If you still have the original TH400, that would allow you to recoup some of the lost value due to it being changed.

If you still have the original TH400, that would allow you to recoup some of the lost value due to it being changed. Along with everything else people throw away, lose or sell. There's a ton of parts that are missing if he doesn't have it all. Honestly, I would think it has more to do with the condition of the car and finding the right seller. In today's market the number of guys looking for a numbers matching Firebird are getting VERY small since the pricing has gotten stoopid and very few cars are or can be brought back to that level with modest budgets. Most people just want to drive and enjoy them. If I had the money (lol) I definitely would be a buyer because of the manual over the automatic.

You will need to post them to a site like Photobucket and then link to the images. I think there is a thread somewhere around here that discusses how to do this.

It sounds like a great car, and I love that color. Here's my opinion on the pricing, and so much of it depends on the buyer and what they really want. If it was an original 4 spd car with those options, I think high 20's like $26 to $29k, depends on condition. If the PHS documents all the options you listed as original, it is worth more than a nice 400 coupe, but it still is not an original 4spd car. So I would say low to mid 20's.
Here's a recent example of getting a car like that at a very good price... about 2 months ago, one of our members paid about $14k for a beautifully restored 68, automatic, 400 coupe - not as many options - but very few flaws all original and low (65k) miles- the owner just wanted to get out of it.
I wish the prices were higher, but if it's not an original HO, RA, TA or 400 4spd vert, it's not comanding a very high price.

You need to research where to sell your car. Other places are selling Firebird's a lot high in price. Canada, Australia and Europe will pay much more than most areas of the states.
I would not sell an incomplete or low end Firebird at any auction. There just is not enough local demand to get enough people to bid it up in price.
Use a specialized seller, eBay to sell it. That car would have sold here in Alberta for 60% more or better.

70k - 200k earnings! I'm moving to Canada.
I think a M/T is a desirable, even if it was not original equip. Might not be popular with the #'s matching crowd, but would be for the "driver" crowd. I think it could be a wash as far as value. Demand is there either way.
Let's see some pics.
BTW - nice improvements on the site Geoff!!!

My friends 67 ended up somewhere in Canada. A guy was picking up a bunch of cars from here when the auctions were in town and shipping up north.

70,000-200,000 is Alberta money, most of our local industry was exported to China, Japan, Taiwan etc. Now our skilled tradesmen travel to Fort Mac, Grand Prarie etc. and leave their families here to fend for themselves, another customer told me of her pending divorce today. BC plates on her vehicle, Alberta plates on his. If your happy where you are stay there. Happiness is hard to beat.

I'm stuck here for now but we would like to go to BC. I'm on LTD and my wife works full-time and 3 girls still at home.
People get big wages but all the prices for things are high here. And yes, I agree, marriages are strained.

Bingo. Here's a New Zealand website for American muscle cars they are heavily into there.. http://www.americarna.com One thing to consider though, is, when you sell an American car abroad, it leaves the U.S. probably forever. That's a bummer, IMO.

The only one I have ever seen that really clicked with me was the 69 Cougar in that movie Dusk Till Dawn. Salma Hayek was also doing a stripper scene as well. Hubba Hubba!
