Yes, it's mine. I've sat on the fence long enough...if I can get any respectable cash for this machine I'm finally letting 'er go. Here's a link to an ad I placed on a local forum. Serious potential buyers should contact me for more detailed info/photos/personal inspection setup, either thru PM here, or via my phone # provided in the thread: http://carmelchatter.com/showthread.php?1616-1968-Firebird-400-Convertible-cloneCar is near Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sorry to hear your selling your bird. Are you looking at restoring another in the future?

Nah. I have so many dang hobbies I just don't have time to mess with big projects like this. I've done some vintage snowmobile restoration and might focus a bit more on that. But between snowmobiling, biking/hiking, traveling, fishing/boating, home/church/friends/family projects, and generally enjoying life...ALL of which I prioritize over a hunk of steel, I seem to find that even though I have a perfectly driveable and enjoyable car here ready to go whenever I want, it usually just sits in the garage even on the most beautiful of days. Frankly I'd rather be doing something else on my priority list than 'cruising' or fixing/cleaning this thing or whatever. Ever since I was about 14 I always kinda wanted to own and fix up a convertible muscle car or two. And now I did. And now I'm done...grown out of it I guess. Plus when you deal with cars for a living like I still do (insurance damage appraiser), kinda the last thing you really want to do when ya get home from work is deal with yet MORE car stuff...
It's been fun. But now time for someone else to take it and run with it. I saved it from death which is nice to know. Now the next owner can fix/change whatever they don't like about what I did, make it even better, or just enjoy it as-is and drive the pants off it. I'm in no huge hurry but hopefully someone will take it off my hands before summer. And if I can't get decent money out of it, I certainly don't NEED to sell it, and I might just end up keeping it a while longer...time will tell.
