The interior of my 69 coupe has a split front bench with headrests and is Parchment in color...
In leaving the interior to last (not that the tinkering ends) I had bought materials from Classic. I have been surprised by the color of the OER that was received.
Ord. (Parchment) Door panels = Color seems to be a dull white. No sheen compared to the existing which has a parchment tinge and a bit of shine.
Ord. (White) door grab handle = Color seems to be grey. Package and part no. says white. Do the repop materials need to be sprayed?
In addition does anyone know who makes the upholstery for the two benches? Seems a bit challenging to find.
It was my understanding that the 69 was Parchment and the 68 was Pearl. My 68, which I have had since new, was definitely Pearl. It did have an almost sparkly sheen when new (I can remember that far back!). The 69's that I had seen seemed to be a slightly duller color - Parchment. I ordered replacement panels from Classic several months ago and they were labeled Pearl and look as I think they should. Very satisfied. I will check tonight to see if I can find the manufacturer.
As far as the grab handle (assume arm rest pad) I do believe you will need to paint.
About all the plastic stuff will have to be re painted to match unless you have black. I just got through painting a bunch of interior plastic to match my 68 parchment. 67 and 69parchment does not have the pearl sheen. A lot of venders call the 68 parchment pearl.
I just painted the grab handles from my deluxe door panels that were white, the door cups, the side seat hinge covers and door jambs edging that were black.
All the venders parchments seem different so to match them you have to stay with the same source or paint them. Most venders don't carry every item so paint is the next thing.
