I have re-upholstered my rear side panels on my 69 Convertible but the old screws in the rear side panels are all different and/or rusted. Where do we get them? I can run to ACE and get something to work but the snap headed screws are more challenging to find.

Believe me, I did. I have restored this car from the body off. I have bought from all those sites and more. I can't seem to find this particular thing.

I appreciate the help but what would help me is knowing another way to search or what they call these screws.

Call Ames, they are always willing to help if you can't find it in their catalog.

I found them from another site. The snaps are called Convertible top boot snaps and are listed differently to the other screws in the same panel which are called Rear Armrest Screw Set. I kept using rear interior side panels and things along those lines.

Anyway I hope this helps someone else out.

I picked some up at a local upholstery shop that does convertible tops, boats, etc.

I ended up saving a ton of money and getting both of them at Ace Hardware.
