I have a 1969 Firebird with the 350 engine. All parts on car are original. Its maroon with black interior. Car was bought new in 1969 and has only had one owner since new. Original paperwork including original temporary tag and warranty book, etc that came with the car included. Car was last driven in 1985 and has been stored in a heated garage ever since. Paint is original. Underside of car is rust free. Exterior quarter panels have rust-through and will need repair. Driver's door has rust in 2 corners, dime sized. No rust along bottom of doors. 2 small rust spots in front fenders. Car was put on lift and underside was examined. NO RUST-THROUGH whatsoever in floorpans, trunk, etc! Inside of trunk still has original spatter finish with some surface rust present. Interior is in very good condition, with only 2 corner seams on top of seatbacks beginning to come apart.
Car was driveable when parked in 1985 but has not been started since.
Engine bay looks just as it did the way it rolled off the showroom floor, minus the dust. No rust in engine bay, with the only exception of the battery tray which is heavily corroded. Everything under hood has the original finish and is in good condition. Antifreeze inside radiator looks good.
Car was never in a collision. Door hinges are original and doors have NO SAG whatsoever upon opening. No rust around windshield, dash or firewall areas. Metal around rear window is in good condition as well. Shock mounting points inside trunk are in very good condition and show original finish. Rubber body bushings are dry rotted, but intact. All steering linkages and front suspension are in good condition and show signs of regular lubrication. Engine oil was changed regularly.
In summary, this car is an all-original one owner car with original paperwork to prove such. Interior does not need to be restored, only detailed. Upper body exterior will need basic rust repair and a repaint. None of the rust is structural. Engine does not leak oil. Real axle does not leak lubricant. Transmission has small leak. Braking system is not leaking.
Cant afford to put back on the road, so its going for a good price to someone who can.

76,000 original, one-owner miles.
$9700
