Harold, not sure about your question but I have the "danger" tag on the positive post, only because that's the post it came on from restoration batteries. Do you know which post was correct? Looks better on yours as it is not upside down but I left it the way it was shipped to me.

Okay, this is a whole new level of restoration Geekieness... I just put in one of these batteries on my vert and I was curious about the tag placement, so I just went through a few pictures on some very high-end restorations from some respected people.
Harold, the "Recomend Replacement with Energizer R59" sticker is absolutely correct. All the restorations had this: Gary Riley's restoration of the 1969 Midnight Green Ram Air IV 4spd convertible, The $125k - 69 TA from Mecum Chicago from last year, and Dave Armstrong's 69 Midnight Green 1000 point national award winning "nuts -on" coupe.
455redbird - I like the way Harold has it, because you can read "R59" on the top of the battery, and my battery just came with the tag on the negative pole. However, when I started looking for pictures of this, I found Dave put it on the positive pole, the Trans Am did not have it on, and Gary's restoration had the positive lead disconnedcted in my pictures from the MCACN show, so I am assuming it was on the positive terminal. By the way, on Dave's car it is face up, so you have to read it from the side of the car.
