Hey all,

Found these in a box and was wondering if it was a complete side marker housing for one side? Or What?

One part says guide 25 and the other says guide 23

Jeff, do you know which one goes on which side? Does it matter? They seem to be slightly different in size.

side doesn't matter, but i see what you mean as far as the part difference. they were used in other cars other than the 68' birds...maybe from two different cars??? maybe just a manufacturing difference...or just an original and a repro???

Could the guide 23 be from a GTO or a full size Pontiac?

The GTO and LeMans rear lights are more curved than the 'birds. When set side by side, the additional curvature is obvious. They will fit the 'bird openings, but not seal well due to the tighter radius of the quarter sheet metal. I'm not sure about the part numbers though.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
