Had a bad fire at one of the places where I was storing parts. Need to replace the following. All parts are for a 69 FIrebird Convertible.

The easy stuff first.
1-Inner and outer heater box non a/c.
2-Glove box lock assembly. Have an extra glove box but no lock.
3-Clear 1/4 glass pretty sure right side with chrome that accepts the weather strip.
4-Upper and lower control arms.
5-Outer core support to fender gussets right and left.
6-Hood striker plate assembly with latch and horns.

Now the hard stuff.
1- 69 Nodular rear end.
2- Front cocktail shakers and brackets
3- NOS frame bushings, control arm bushings, leaf spring shackle bushings etc.

Thankfully the rag top is fine. Just a little smoke.

I have to head over there to find out what was next to the car. I am certain the 69 latch or hood lock I got from Craig was in the hot side of things.

http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/lake/...d7598dc40a.html

It occurred to me I might need kidney pans too. But again they might be with the car.

I am going over there Thursday and sort through the boxes. I have to take some temporary power.

Shoot me a pm with the prices on this stuff and shipping to 60451.

Thanks,

What does it mean when you say "Nodular" rear end?

Here is the answer.
Just a big N on the center. For steeper gears. Car came with a M-21 and a ZK rear. Guess he must have liked a high revving engine and of course to replace rear tires.

http://www.firebird400ho.com/nodular-rear-end-date-codes/

They are out there but goofy expensive. We are going to delicately pick through the rubble to see if we can find the differential and the brackets for the cocktail shakers.

But there are nine vehicles that went up in smoke and about ten thousand plus square feet of rubble.

Early 69 – 9795107
Late 69 – 9795124

First of all, I want to thank everyone for their assistance in getting me up and running. I

I have been in contact with those of you and await the shipping fees etc and payment logistics so i can get moving again. Five steps forward and three steps backward is not too bad when you have folks who share the same passion.

The response has been overwhelming and I hope to someday personally thank each and everyone of you.

The easy stuff first.
1-Inner and outer heater box non a/c.--- Looks like Bill Speer will be providing.
2-Glove box lock assembly. Have an extra glove box but no lock.- Still need.
3-Clear 1/4 glass pretty sure right side with chrome that accepts the weather strip.
4-Upper and lower control arms.- Scott wrap those up and I still might go for that steering box.
5-Outer core support to fender gussets right and left.- It is in the mail to me.
6-Hood latch for a 69- Still needed. But someone is looking for it.
Now the hard stuff.
1- 69 Nodular rear end.- Still looking
2- Front cocktail shakers and brackets- Some folks have them and I will make a decision soon.
3- NOS frame bushings, control arm bushings, leaf spring shackle bushings etc.- Now covered.

I also found I need a gas pedal assembly. I truly forgot what mine looked like, Not sure if it is different from a Camaro or not but if anyone has one that they can send a picture of I would sure appreciate it. Bill Speer seems to think he has one so hopefully he does.

If not send a picture to me at wolverineum1981@yahoo.com.

Thanks again---Casey

Just an update.

Still in need
1- Gas pedal assembly 69 Firebird
2-I had two complete ashtray assemblies including the trim that screws to the dash. I am looking for workable oem units. I did not realize they were there until I found some of my other parts in the rubble and two very deformed ash tray assemblies.
3-Glove box latch assembly or entire glove box
4-It seems like it would be simple to find but---can't find the right side core to fender support bar. I found my left one in the rubble now I have three left hands. Anyone need a left side. One is a little toasty with a nice blue coat complements of the steam treatment it got.

Looking for workable oem stuff.

Hello Maria and Casey. I have some parts that you need. I have a 69 ashtray and a 69 glove box door, complete with lock. I'll be kind of busy tomorrow but if you want pics, I could get them to you late tomorrow or Monday. Let me know. Frank.

Saw that you were needing bushings for springs. When I rebuilt my 68 I was able to get original quality items from St. Louis Spring off of samshepard Drive in downtown St. Louis. It has been 10 years or so, but might be a place to start.
