Hi,

Does anyone have a good picture of a 67 showing the throttle rod attaching to the carb linkage? Even with the cotter pin still attached, mine somehow worked it way out of the linkage yesterday after a few WOT blasts. Thanks!

I think there was a post about this not too long ago. Might want to search

Thanks that helps.

Looks like I'm missing some of the bushings and I have it backwards too

Thanks all.

I went ahead and ordered a new rod, since somebody attempt to weld it to the carb linkage at some point and it's hacked up now. Do I need these as well?

Oh yeah I'm going to move that coil too as soon as I get the correct bracket.

yes, recommended, as you'll end up with a lot of slop without

Thanks for the replies, I have all my parts now. Will try and tackle it today/tomorrow. To make sure the carb is opening all the way I was thinking of marking the full start and wide open position with some tape and then check it once the rod is attached. Sound ok?

Also Is that actually the correct coil bracket for 67 slightly bent up and in the wrong place? I have been searching everywhere for the correct one.

The hole in the throttle arm is too small for the bushing (I know it's not the correct arm). Is it too risky to try and enlarge it without removing the carb? I'm worried about the metal shavings falling into the valley pan, I guess I could make a 'bib' of some sort.
