I think I am in the market for a original style air cleaner for a 4 barrel QuadraJet.

What should I be looking to spend on something like that... or if you have an old one lying around let me know.
Thanks

Two air cleaners, one is base only. The other is OEM from a '68 GTO which used the same air cleaner that year.

First one, the base only(second and third file) has been repainted but could use being touched up again. Repop Air Cleaner lids run $55 or so from Ames. The also sell little stickers that replicate the painted lettering. Asking $175.

Second one is entire unit from a '68 GTO. He converted to Ram Air setup and then sold the car. It has a small hole in the base from using a later year Quadrajet with it. It is also missing the clip to hold the PCV filter. OEM lid in decent shape. Sticker needed in this scenario also. Comes with air filter. Asking $275.

Shipping will need to be added. I also have a 350 air cleaner base if anyone is interested. I'm fairly certain it is sitting in Ohio at the moment.

See Frank's Pontiac Parts for his pricing on one of these($400). Well, you can't as he only has it marked as sold. He's been out of stock for a few years. I bought the last one he had four years ago.

Well, that is what I am looking for, however, a bit out of budget at the moment...(don't get me wrong probably worth the money....didn't know how much they were worth) got to get a couple other things first. What is the difference with the 350 base, since mine is actually a 350, 4 barrel conversion, and that is the look i want to eventualy go with including the 350-4 Pontiac sticker...

The snout is narrower and shorter and I think it takes a 14" air cleaner. I'll try and get some pictures sent to me. That one I can sell for similar pricing as Scott, $50 plus shipping.

There are 3 400 engine air cleaners on eBay right now. All in various needs of some work.

Yes, that is a pirated Buick sticker on the lid. I duly informed the prior owner. I then proceeded to go buy another '70 Skylark.
