I'm selling the OHC 6 engine and Saginaw 3-speed transmission from my 1968 Firebird Sprint. The engine was running up to when I recently pulled it from the car. While it ran fine, the rings are worn. It uses oil and compression is below specs. The engine should be rebuilt. The transmission is good. I'm including everything. I'm upgrading to a V8 and a 4-speed.
$700 gets the transmission, Hurst shifter, pressure plate, clutch, flywheel, bellhousing and complete engine. You get the 4-barrel and the linkage. The air cleaner assembly. The exhaust y-pipe is included. It was cut from the exhaust below the car. It can be welded to a new system. You get the starter, motor mounts and engine frame brackets. Most of the clutch linkage and parts is included; such as the z-bar. My car did not have PS, but I do have the brackets and pulleys needed to add power steering. I purchased these items from a salvage yard. I don't need them now so there included. You get it all.
Just in case anyone is curious if I'm willing to part out the engine... Yes I will. Any part is $700 and I'll toss in all the other parts for free.
The engine is in the Philadelphia area. You would need to pick it up. I don't have the resources to ship.
