The passenger side window on our '68 has a vertical scratch near the rear edge--from a misadjustment years ago. It's not deep, but the windshield installer said these windows cannot be polished.

Does anyone have a non-tinted '68 door window glass to sell?

We need one without noticeable scratches, clear, not tinted. A scratched one would show up badly on this car. since it's a fresh restoration.

We're in Winneconne, WI, so shipping wouldn't be outrageous. Or, I have a brother-in-law that lives in Chaska. He's coming here in late June. Maybe he could pick it up, pay you, and bring it here.

Can you let me know the price?

Thanks,
Dick Boneske

I have a passenger clear with 2 minute scratches 3/4 up center glass..still on car. LOF glass...clear. After I cleaned glass, I looked hard and those were the only 2 spots. The scratches are not that deep and ive used ceruim oxide to buff out deeper scratches.

There is a company in Minnesota that has new glass...period correct..date coded. Clear and tinted. Believe his 6 piece 68 sets run $850. I'm sure he sells individuals.

PM me if interested... if you are, I will polish the scratch with cerium first to see if will clean up then the entire glass.

I have three soft ray passenger sides. The first one I looked at was extremely nice. There are two very faint scratches about one inch long, half way up near the rear side. You have to hold the glass up to a light to even see them. I'd call it a 9 out of 10. It was so nice I didn't bother looking at the other two. But if your brother in law wants to stop over and choose, he is welcome. $50 for any of the three on a pick up basis.
My email address is vike108@yahoo.com.
I don't know why PM's are not working.

All three are wrapped up and are sitting under my desk, ready to go.

I'll contact my brother-in-law about picking one up. My email address is bocoogto@charter.net so we can communicate that way.

Thanks
