I'm sure they have a reserve price. It will be interesting to see how the two compare. I'm also sure that Mecum is very happy to have two cars on the docket that are so collectable. Even if they don't meet the reserve, they bring a lot of attention to the entire auction.

Well, one has a snow plow so might have greater geographic attractiveness. I mean, it would helpful for those who live north of the border or in Minnesota/Wisconsin for that matter.

one of them was on display in Indy. think it was the Wh/Wh/Wh one. they were saying it should go between one and three mil

There is the infamous story of the one 4-5 years ago that Mecum bid up over a million $ but no real buyer was bidding at that point.

The automatic one went to 1.4 million, and didn't sell.
The manual one went to 1.9 and sold!!!
Original cars, original drivetrain, original interior, one repaint, are going very high!!!

It sold on the show!!! Buyer must have backed out. I couldn't believe they didn't/ wouldn't
sell it over 1 million!

When I posted the link, the little Sold logo was on them. When I clicked through to the actual page for the car, it showed the Bid Goes On. Not sure what to think. Other than their website may be off.

Was 1 or both owned by B.J.? Maybe they "sold" manual, to hopefully bring up price on automatic? Like,
buy their own car back. Their out seller premium and auction fees, to themselves? Done in smaller auctions.
Then, change bid to Bid going on. Who would know or care, but them? Most move on. Just saying.
