I like the looks of the sport mirror but my issue is the wing window. I don't think that it will open if the sport mirror is mounted in the original position. the original mirror reaches rearward out of the way. I don't want to move the new mirror rearward and expose the original holes. Any thoughts or recommendations on a different mirror that will work with the same look?

You are probably correct, but a small price to pay for something you like man. Take a look her, looks like a 67 or 68 with them. It is the bottom right pic I think
