I have a 69 bird that I'm doing a restro on. I was looking at buying the fisher body book and a service manual book for the car but am wondering if they are really worth the money or not. Opinions?

I use the service manual all the time. It is very handy and I would not like not having it.

I have not used the body manual all that much. It did show some details on the convertible top and doors and front end while I did a full restoration.

If money is not an issue I would still buy both but the service manual will be used all the time.

I have Pontiac " chassis and body" parts catalogue and illustrated manual . thru 1975

are these the books you guys are talking about? God, somtimes I can't find what I'm looking for in them and some times it seams to be weak on 69 firebirds.

Is there better books that your talking about? it doesn't sound like your talking about the books I have.

Thanks Bill V

I use and recommend having both Body by Fisher and Service Manual. Lots of information which can be very difficult to find elsewhere - even with the internet.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Dennis
