Ive got a 1968 firebird 400 im looking into getting some long tube headers. My car has ps AC and automatic column shifter and D port heads any suggestions on headers that will fit ?
Headers are a real PIA on pontiacs. Maybe think about repop long branch manifolds instead.
x2!
They are a thing of beauty!

As mentioned in another topic, the oil filter is difficult to remove if you have headers - ask me how I know. Another issue is I have to be very careful driving over speed bumps. I've remodeled/re-shaped my headers a few times. If I had to do again, I'd go with the factory long-branch manifolds.
I have recently purchased the Hooker super comps and they do not fit I notice in your post that you have installed them on yours mine are hitting the steering box. Can you help in anyway with my issue
I run headmans 4 tube style and a dual remote oil system. Engine Plate from kaufman or butler. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360960087806?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
