Ames performance has a new gas cap listed with out the ears to to fit the 67-68 birds.

Part number FL670C 35.00 each.

Correct functionally but too bad they still haven't made it correct in appearance.

Yep I agree. I have a correct one on the car and an extra just in case I ever need it.

But it is good they finally made something that at least may work.

Mine looks like the one ames is offering. Has a S stamped on the rivet.

correct is 9794205 Never seen one for sale.
