Hi ,I've decide to replace my 194 light bulbs with DEL. I've remembered seing a post with a person trying different type of DEL and painting it aqua color but i'm not able to find it anymore.
I Have painted the exterior with weldtru primer to keep conductivity for the ground. Anyone remembering the post i'm taking about ? or have suggestion for a color instead of the baby blue ?
Also the plastic lens is a bit blemish any tips or product to bring back to a clear state
I painted the inside of mine with fake chrome paint (really just bright silver.) You can buy replacement lenses for the cluster. Otherwise a good plastic polish like somthing used on a motorcycle helmet faceshield or maybe headlight polishing kit.

I experimented and after repainting the interior of my cluster baby blue, I repainted it flat white. Now I have MUCH brighter instruments at night.
The headlight plastic polishing kits will work well on you clear bezel.

Thank you for your answers. What did you guys used to replace the foam inside the cluster to seal each light. Also I found a kind of mirror paint wich seam to replicate the finish inside a headlight housing. I will try the chrome or the white and test everything out.
