Have searched with not much luck. This car was a auto floor shifter, now converted to M21 with Muncie shifter. Can I use the existing factory hole with out making it any bigger? Without measuring it, I'm going to say it's about 3" x 4.5". What was the factory hole size? And can I convert my factory auto console to work with the Muncie?
Thanks in advance!

Your going to need a bigger hole. Someone here probably has a template for you.

You can disassemble the console and purchase a new aftermarket 4sp "tunnel" that will bolt right in. No need to cut anything, as the hole for the auto plate is the same size that the 4 speed plate bolts into. http://www.classicindustries.com/product/1968/firebird/parts/9793260.html
