When swapping an intake last summer I noticed some oil buildup/carbon on the backside of my intake valves. Car runs well and only has the occasional puff of smoke at startup. Just ordered a valve spring compressor and plan to pull springs and chk condidtion of seals and chk if possible for wear in guides. What was the original seal configuration for the seals from the factory. Have heard just O-rings on all valves and heard umbrella on intake and O-rings on all as well. I deal with a local NAPA an they show two parts listed SS13360 Felpro valve stem O-ring set 16 pieces FPG SS13360 Felpro Oil seal set 8 pieces
Also read that some put shields and O-rings on all valves!!
these I believe are correct and just wanted any input from anyone who has done this before with factory heads 16's.
