I've got a '69 convertible and with the stock seats I sit a bit too high. My sightline is right in to the top of the glass and the sun visors. Also I find them pretty uncomfortable. So.... Looking for some seats that will let me sit a bit lower.
Has anyone put the scat procar rally seats in a first gen camaro? Do the seats sit any lower than stock?
Any other suggestions?

Not too sure about procar seats, however corbeau seats offer a shaved base option to lower your seating position.

Have the original seats redone, shave some of the foam off and reinforce with 1/2" carpet padding....

My car is street/strip and needed a headrest so my noggin is not bouncing off the roll bar... installed the cheaper procar seats, which seem good for the money. Bracket has three settings, but you need to cut the top half of bracket to use the lower mounting hole.
Feels similar to stock, maybe lower since the seats are reclining. When car is back from the roll cage shop, I can get a measurement from seat to headliner.
