Hi All,
I replaced the wheelwell moldings on my '68 w/ aftermarket. The holes didn't line up quite as well as the ones I took off but they look nice. Before I let the trashman have the old ones, can anyone tell me how the G.M. ones are differant? Are originals w/ door dings worth selling? I didn't see a part# or marking on the old ones.
Thanks in advance
Vic

I straightened the dings out of my originals on my LeMans by using a block of pine for a dolly, and a rounded drift, and tapping from the backside to move the metal back out. A little sanding with medium, fine, and superfine, then polishing the whole piece, gave the illusion of a new molding.

I bought mine(69 Bird) from GM. It was a few years ago but you might give them a shot. Barry
