I notice the passenger seat is slightly crooked leaning towards to door. It's noticable from standing behind the car you can see the passenger slide seat slopes down to the right. Not sure if it is supposed to be that way or what's going on. Anyone notice that? You shim it up on the right to correct it? Weird.

Pics?

Could be bent after accident. Check where the seat bolts to the floor. Maybe something wedged under seat leg.

Thanks guys, I'll check it out this morning. The seat tracks are solid I'm sure and the car mostly accident free except for a fender bender 40 years ago. It appears to be the seat itself but I don't think its possible. The car being a ragtop, you can see the driver's seat top the the backrest is a nice and straight line and the passenger seat slopping to the right maybe an inch.

I had a rag top like that ,If i remember the floor might have two sets of mounting holes. make sure they are in the same ones side to side one track maybe back a bit offset, or someone prior bent a leg not knowing which hole to be in.

Well, I know what it is, but don't know why. I took out the seat and placed it on the ground, its rocking like a beast! So turns out the right rear mounting pad on the frame is 1/2" or so lower then the other 3 pads! No idea why, just yet. The frame is not bend.

Well, after closely examining the seat frame and using a straight edge I found the moveable portion of the railing on the right was straight and the left side was slightly bowed. It HAS to have a slight bow in it. I was able to bend the right side back out with a pry bar and an extension, enough to make both sides equal. Installed the seat, and it's perfect now! Thanks all for your help, it always pays to talk things thorough. Keeps you sharp and thinking if google doesn't have the answer, lol!.

Mine has the exact same issue. Isn't that strange?
Thank you for the advice.
