I'll try to keep this simple. I need to paint kick panels, seatback panels, and interior moldings. Priorities are originality and quality and then longevity. Paint: Ames or Other? Preparation 1: Ames Prep Soln. or not? Preparation 2: Ames Adhesion Promoter or not? Clear Coat: Ames Clear Satin, Gloss, other, or none?
My color is Teal Blue, so that may make a difference.
Nice looking! I see your door panel carpet is faded compared to your floor carpet - like mine. Let me know if you ever decide to dye it. My panels are in nice shape, so I'll have to figure out how to proceed there in the future...

Thanks I thing it is just the lighting, the door panels are new also. I just got the interior finished a few months ago
Kcpaul, I've had good luck with SEM paint and used Klean- Strip Bulldog adhesion Promoter. I did a El Camino for a customer and re stored parts out of the junkyard using these products and it came out great. I buy all this stuff at my local automotive paint store. Hope this helps you out.
