Changed my 2 barrel intake to a 4 barrel on my 326 engine. Novice? Are all 4 barrel intakes quadrajet or is there a 4 barrel and a 4 barrel quadrajet intake. If there is how to tell the difference. Also anybody have any photos of their carb setup specifically the accelerator pedal linkage and kickdown cable

Some are square bore, some spread bore, factory quadrajet manifolds have 2 smaller holes in front and larger ones in the rear, that will only fit a quad without an adapter. A lot of aftermarket manifolds are made for square bore holley and edelbrock etc only.

Pretty sure the Edelbrock intakes will take square bore carbs (Holley, edelbrock) and spread bore carb (quadrajets).
