My '68 Firebird project is pretty much complete. Still trying to sell what's left over. Update of an old thread. Really hate to throw the stuff in the scrap hopper at work but I'm not hanging onto it much longer. If there is something you can use let's talk, I'll work with you - prices are not firm.

GM Parts for Sale
- LH Front Fender - Original GM '68 Firebird fender. Minor rust in bottom of dog leg. Small dent by bird emblem. $100
- RH Front Fender - GM NOS but it's for a Camaro. Not RS. Fit and worked on my '68 Firebird but has a small step where turn signal mounts that is different than Firebird. Small dent by fender emblem and peak by windshield was never right. I bought from a local GM dealer back in the '80's at a going out of business sale. Suspect it went unused due to peak by windshield damage. Looked like point was damaged in shipment. Still a usable, rust free GM piece. $100
- GM '67-'68 Firebird front bumper. Tweaked and dinged but a solid core for straightening and re-plating. $50 Also pair of small, lower front bumper brackets. $40 Driver quality LH & RH grill - both broke in the thin spot $25 for the pair.
- (1) GM '68 Firebird front valance. GM - dented in the center. $50 (may have a '67 laying around too)
- GM door and quarter panel interior molding. (Where door and quarter panel meet the steel body) from a ’67 Firebird Deluxe interior convertible car. Very good condition. (4) piece set, will not separate. $75
- '67 Deluxe door panel mounting bracket. (I think...) Free, you pay the freight.
- Pair GM '68 (I think) door latch handle mechanism - the part the interior door handle and the rod attach to. Free, you pay the freight.
- Pair 'GM '67 outside door handles. Less then driver quality. Free, you pay the freight.
- Pair complete front drum brake assemblies from '68 Firebird. Usable. Free, you pay the freight
- (2) sets of quarter windows and track parts. Glass scratched and pitted. Tracks useable. Will separate. Cheap!
- Pair GM '67 GTO/Lemans rear brake backing plates. Gloss black powder coated. Free, you pay the freight.
- ’67-’69 Camaro SBC Turbo 350 Transmission Cross Member, GM – Fresh satin black powder coat. $50
- GM '68 Burlwood ash tray - complete with careless smoker burns. $25
- '67 GM LH steel bumper to fender filler. $20
- Various gas pedals and parts & a set of clutch and brake pedals. Not sure what year.
- (6) NOS GM Clutch Fork Boot #3993851 $15 ea.
- '68 Camaro Standard Black Door Panels - Nice condition for 50+ years old. $125
- Miscellaneous small stuff - driver quality or worse; various Firebird emblems, a pair of taillights, some bolts & clips, GM sheet metal body plugs, misc. interior pieces, etc.. PM me with needs.

Aftermarket Parts for Sale:
- '68 Firebird front valance, aftermarket - new condition. $50
- Ames FF841L, FF841R and (2) FF842S clip sets - '67-'68 rocker molding set with mounting hardware. New in box. $100
- Gas tank sending unit wiring harness. The short wire with the grommet that goes through the trunk floor. New $5
- Standard Motor Products DR-2270XP ignition point set and DR-70X condenser. Condition: New in box. $10
- Eaton Detroit Spring DS01, 4 leaf. 175# spring rate leaf springs, arched 1” taller than stock. Used one summer then decided to lower the car. $400 new. Condition: Like new. $100? These are stiff springs and are arched 1” taller than stock.
- TCI Max-Cool Aluminum Transmission Pan #378015 for 1997-2005 4L60E/4L65E. This is the top of the line TCI pan; $300 new. Condition: New in box. $125 Pan is 4" deep!
- Hayden Transmission Fluid Cooler #403 - Used, good condition $10
- Napa Power Steering Return Hose #7-1622, New in box. Fits '68-'69 Firebird 350/400 cars. $10
- (1) Proforged upper ball joint 101-10002 '59-'70 full size Pontiac, new in box - $10
- Rear window interior trim - Trim Parts 6723 3 piece set- New in box. $40
- Chrome dip stick tube & dip stick for big block Chevy - Proform 141-553. New in box. $15

All prices plus shipping. Please note, sheet metal and heavier items will be expensive to ship. I much prefer cash & carry on sheet metal than trying to package and truck ship. I shipped a NOS quarter panel to a gent in Arizona a couple years ago. Was a lot of work to ship and surprisingly expensive. Quarter did arrive in perfect condition.
I'm not on Paypal or anything like that. Prefer cash or check.

Thanks,
Dennis

I am looking at buying a 68 Firebird that is in pieces right now. The person says he thinks all the parts are there but you know never know. Your post says you will be throwing your parts away that don't find a home. Any idea how long before that happens?

Dennis, I am looking for 1967-1968 Deluxe Seatbelt covers, button, and springs. I have the bright blue interior but could likely use black or a lighter color that I can paint to match. I need all five covers, buttons, and springs. Do you happen to have any of these in your inventory?

Hello Dennis,

I'm interested in the interior 1/4 panel molding. Could you send me a picture to see if we are talking about the same thing? Where in Indiana are you located. I'm over in southern MI, north of Fremont, Howe.

Thanks and take care.

Hi John,

I’m in Lowell, IN. I might have a short business trip to Elkhart very soon however.

John,

I bought a set of door & quarter panels from a site member a couple years ago. I wanted the door panel stainless trim. I still have the 1/4 panels. Trim is not perfect but could be cleaned up to be decent. These are ‘68. Not sure if 67’s are
the same.

Sorry for the delay, I did not see your post. I sold them to a gent in Ohio.

Thanks,
Dennis
