This radio is what it says, AM/FM, but not AM/FM Stereo radio for anyone thinking otherwise. The stereo portion is another unit that is mounted under the dash by the radio. How do I know? I have one, original Am/FM radio with stereo that I removed from a 1969 Firebird about 40 years ago in my stash of parts. Worked when removed.

Wow, that is rare, and spendy. I now feel like the repro am fm radio I got for my 69 build was worth the $700 reluctantly paid.
