On my FAST 2.0 EZ EFI system, when i start my firebird, the hand held screen turns off briefly at key up, and then comes back on. FAST indicates the ignition switch is not keeping 12 volts constant as I crank the vehicle, and this causes issues rebooting the ecm as the car cranks.

How have others resolved this?

Does someone sell an ignition switch that keeps 12v on continuously while the starter spins? American Auto wire has a dash mounted ignition switch that has been built for this. Does anyone make a column mounted ignition switch that doesn't briefly switch the 12v off as the switch slides to the crank position?

The power feed wire to the coil has 12v on crank position and run position. If you absolutely had to it can be done with a relay and other wires.
Personally i wired my car off a separate switch to feed the EFI system.
